Desde septiembre 17 del 2016 los procesadores de alimentos que exporten alimentos a los Estados Unidos necesitan tener un plan de inocuidad alimentaria bajo nuevos requerimientos de la FDA expuestos en la Ley de Modernización CFR 117; que debe ser preparado por un “Individuo Calificado en Controles Preventivos (PCQI)”.
Esto significa que las empresas procesadoras y exportadores de alimentos necesitan tener un PCQI calificado para que puedan desarrollar el plan de seguridad en la producción de alimentos de acuerdo a los parámetros exigidos por la FDA
Para tener el individuo Calificado PCQI se puede tomar la ruta general para certificarse tomando un curso estandarizado dictado por un “Instructor Líder en Controles Preventivos”. Aceptado por FSPCA,
